Château Boutinet We ship our wines direct from our property in Villegouge, Bordeaux.

Château Boutinet is a 27 hectare property, including 12 hectares planted with vines. We work our vines with passion. We are in conversion, and 2020 will be our first certified organic vintage, but we have been working in a rational and ecological way since the 2014 vintage. We welcome all year round around visits & tastings, Rando tapas, Yoga & wine

Thalie is vinified in barrels, 15 months of aging on this vintage. 100% Merlot, we did not want to use the new barrel, because we want the wood to enrich an aromatic palette and not hide the fruity aromas.

We are in organic conversion officially since 2017 with the Ecocert certifying body. In 2012, we decided to work on our soils and to stop weed killers. Step 2, use copper and sulfur, as of 2014.

With this wine, we wanted a wine on the fruit, a round and crunchy wine, 100% Merlot

Château Boutinet Le Clairet de Château Boutinet AOC Bordeaux rosé
AOC Clairet, neither rosé wine nor red wine, it is the specificity of Bordeaux. 100% Merlot, it is a wine of pleasure, which is eaten fresh as an aperitif and throughout the meal. It is less sweet than rosé, with a very light tannic structure. Delicious on spicy dishes, barbecues, fish, and red fruit dessert.
