65% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc blend

The vinification was carried out without input other than a little sulphur.

Then the aging was done in barrels for 12 months.

Blend of the estate's grape varieties, from plots facing south and south-west:

55% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Petit Verdot.

The Elfe cuvée was aged in amphorae and in barrels of several wines for twelve months.

Characters: purple color with brilliant reflections, intense notes of spices then fruity notes. A more complex second nose with aromas of currant and light smoke. Mouth offering a very beautiful binder and a delicate touch. It is a balanced cuvée full of energy, a signature of the link with the place called Bayle.

This Amphore Red is predominantly Cabernet Franc (65%), Merlot (35%).

The vinification was carried out without input other than a little sulphur.

Then the aging in amphorae has finished sublimating all its characters allowing the wine to develop mineral notes underlined by the sandstone of the amphorae.

The harmonization of the 4 elements has, here again, contributed to the balance.

This 100% Merlot was vinified in tuns, then aged in fine-grained barrels to allow it to breathe, to gain in amplitude without acquiring woody notes.

On the palate, all the subtlety of aging and the finesse of the Merlot are revealed to offer a balanced wine.

Not having undergone filtration to better preserve its integrity and its fruit, this bottle may present a slight deposit, a sign of its living and natural character.
