Château La Blancherie We ship our wines direct from our property in La Brède, Graves et Pessac-Léognan.

The wines of Château La Blancherie, property of 22ha of vines, formerly owned by the family of Baron de Montesquieu, have contributed, through the centuries and until today, to build the reputation of the great wines of Graves.

Next to the Grands Crus Classés of Pessac Léognan, the property enjoys a sandy, sandy-clay soil, perfectly adapted to the production of the best white and red wines from Graves.

It is in this context that our Fray-Bonnac family took up the torch of this exceptional terroir; determined to convey the values that characterize us: humility, tradition and conviviality.

Garnet garnet color. Nose of forest atmosphere, note of humus, leather, jammy berries, vanilla background. Soft mouth, with a fine texture. A lot of freshness that pleasantly bears the fruit. Melted tannins.

Grapes: 50% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Franc, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon

Soils: gravelly, clay, limestone

Maturing: 12 months in oak barrels

Food pairing and wine; Red meat, game birds, cheese

A beautiful deep garnet robe with a presence of beautiful brown highlights. Fine and complex nose on red fruits, fresh and jammy. Full-bodied and fat on the palate, very balanced, fleshy, with tannins present and tasty, spicy in the finish, as it should be. Château La Blancherie Graves Rouge is a complex and very persistent wine. He is ready to drink, or can wait several years (5 to 12 years).

Grapes: 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Cabernet Franc

Maturing: 12 months in oak barrels

Soils: gravelly, clay, limestone

Grapes: Cabernet Franc 85%, Merlot 15%

Soils: gravelly, clay, limestone

Exceptional wine from the best parcels of the Château. Bright light gold dress. Very fine nose with notes of exotic fruits accompanied by a hint of lemon, as well as notes of white fruits. Gourmet mouth, rich and round, ending on aromas of stone fruits. Nice balance between power and freshness.

Grapes: Sauvignon Blanc 90%, Semillon 10%

Soils: gravelly, clay, limestone

Aging: 6 to 8 months in oak barrels

Pairing food and wine: seafood, poultry cream

Crystal clear, pale yellow with green hues. Very pleasant nose with intense aromas of ripe fruit. Mineral, the palate is suave, fruity, ample and well structured. Harmonious and long finish, well balanced.
