Domaine du Petit Paris

Domaine du Petit Paris

Monbazillac (Dordogne)

The Domaine du Petit Paris in the heart of the southwest has been producing Bergerac and Monbazillac wines for generations. Alas! In 2011, the fourth generation of the Geneste family stopped its activity, sold the equipment and rented the vines.

The grapes produced by its old vines are delivered without mercy to the cooperative winery. The cellar emptied of its press and its vats is delivered mercilessly to the dust. In a corner, a few forgotten wine cellars are slowly turning sour ...

But one fine day ... here we are, the 5th generation: Blandine and Bastien, agro couple, finally decided to settle in Madame's family estate, after a long professional retraining. What an ambitious challenge to recover the vines and re-equip the winery!

The first trials are however overcome with the production of our first vintage on 4 ha in 2018, which some of you have already discovered. We also managed to recover a total of 12 ha in 2019, which we completely convert to organic. But it will take three years before the AB logo can appear on the label.

Today, we feel young winegrowers to the tip of the nose.
