Les Evocelles means "small valley"

This old vine produces small concentrated grapes every year.

Facing south-east, sloping, this climate ideally located on a calcareous soil with entroque and ostrea marl dominates the top of the village of Brochon.

 

Altitude 340 meters - 100% Pinot Noir - Plantation of vines 1970 - Pruning Guyot - Reasoned cultivation and prophylaxis - Traditional vinification - Manual harvest - 16 to 18 months of aging in oak barrels.

 

A fine and delicate wine around red fruits. There is fine, smooth and well-integrated tannins on the palate.

Ideal with red meats, meats in sauce or game, but also with cheeses such as époisse au ami du chambertin. It goes perfectly with chocolate.
