Domaine La Suffrène
La Cadière-d'Azur (Provence)
The Bandolaise area is one of the most famous terroirs of the Provence vineyard. It owes its reputation to a very favorable microclimate, and to its king grape variety "Le Mourvèdre".
The Bandol appellation is one of the oldest AOC (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée) in France, it was recognized in 1941. The quality of the wines is also due to very restrictive specifications with low yields, from harvest to hand allowing a rigorous selection of grapes.
Our very fragmented vineyard, often on hillsides, and cut in goblets, involves significant manual work, respecting the traditions of our Appellation.
