Terroir
A fresh silty-clay plateau, close to the Dordogne and ideal for the expression of Sauvignon Blanc.
Grapes
60% Sauvignon blanc; 30% Semillon; 10% Muscadelle
Vinification
The grapes are picked and sorted mechanically, then delicately crushed. Skin maceration to develop the aromatic potential of Sauvignon blanc before gentle pressing. Alcoholic fermentation at low temperature then aging on fine lees for several weeks.
Tasting advice
Serve chilled between 6 and 8 ° C as an aperitif and to accompany oysters and all kinds of seafood, fish or cheese.

Grézillac (Entre-deux-Mers)
The BARREAU Vineyards come from a long line of passionate winegrowers. The story begins in 1782 with the planting of the first vines at a place called Garriga, 10 km from Saint-Emilion.
Winemakers for six generations, we manage Château Haut-Garriga and Château Coutreau. With 75 hectares and regularly awarded medals in the most prestigious contests, our estates are among the most renowned of the Bordeaux and Entre-deux-Mers appellations.
