The Château Palais Cardinal is the main wine we produce.

The piecemeal work of our teams allows us to select the grapes best suited to the style we want for this wine: powerful, fruity and finely oaky.

It is made from a blend of traditional grape varieties from the right bank of Bordeaux: 73% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc.

After aging in oak barrels for at least 18 months, it offers attractive notes of black fruit and incense on a well-defined bouquet. The palate is full-bodied with a slightly woody attack, and presents a supple and attractive texture, well-balanced acidity and a silky finish.

Château Haut-Boutisse comes from the vineyards of the Bordeaux appellation of Château Palais Cardinal.

The grapes are harvested between September and October, with a short aging (4 months) for bottling between April and May of the following year. We will here especially insist on intense notes of red fruits, then a small light woody side.

This premier wine stands out for its freshness, fruit and ability to be enjoyed on any occasion. Composed mainly of Cabernet Franc (57%) for the structure, the Merlot which completes it (43%) brings elegance and fruit.
