The Château Palais Cardinal is the main wine we produce.

The piecemeal work of our teams allows us to select the grapes best suited to the style we want for this wine: powerful, fruity and finely oaky.

It is made from a blend of traditional grape varieties from the right bank of Bordeaux: 73% Merlot, 23% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Cabernet Franc.

After aging in oak barrels for at least 18 months, it offers attractive notes of black fruit and incense on a well-defined bouquet. The palate is full-bodied with a slightly woody attack, and presents a supple and attractive texture, well-balanced acidity and a silky finish.

Château Palais Cardinal

Saint-Sulpice-de-Faleyrens (Saint-Émilion)

The Château Palais Cardinal vineyard extends south of Saint-Emilion over 19 hectares 40 ares.

Taken over in 2008 by Jean-Louis and Jackline Texier, the property has been renovated and enlarged, giving these wines a new identity.

We bring to the work of the land the respect that man owes to the plant, in the concern to be faithful to nature.
