Domaine de l'Aster
Peret (Languedoc)
The Aster estate is located in Péret in the geographic center of the Hérault department in the appellation areas of
Languedoc, Languedoc-Pézénas and Clairette du Languedoc.
Nestled at the foot of the Malhubert volcano, the family vineyard has been passed down from generation to generation for several centuries. It benefits from the volcanic and basaltic influence of the chain of Puy volcanoes which crosses the name of Languedoc-Pézénas from north to south before its last link meets, in Agde, the Mediterranean.
This rare volcanic influence characterizes this very young denomination, because basalt projections are found on the whole of this so particular terroir.
